Arrow Yacht Services Expands Its Monaco-Based Management Team
From its offices in the Port of Fontvieille, Monaco, ASM operates at the centre of the yachting world

YV&C International Yacht Vacations & Charters Magazine reports:

Founded by Paul Archer in 1997, Arrow Services Monaco (ASM) has provided yacht owners with independent advice on various aspects of yacht ownership, from financial planning to new construction management.

From its offices in the Port of Fontvieille, Monaco, ASM is at the centre of the yachting world and a member of the respected Chambre Monegasque de Yachting.

With over 100 yachts registered each year and having implemented company formations and registrations in most major jurisdictions ASM has earned a reputation as a reliable expert in the Mediterranean. Its multi-lingual team is well versed in structuring ownership and the operation of yachts in a safe tax and VAT effective manner.

ASM has concentrated on assisting clients in finding yacht finance, specialising in leasing with French and Italian banks – a safe and cost-effective way of both financing a yacht and substantially reducing VAT costs.

The ASM philisophy is “Minimize the cost and maximise the enjoyment” - of yacht ownership.

Arrow Services Monaco is committed to its proven approach to independent consultancy services. Working in partnership with clients to achieve their needs, through a customised strategy this often involves liaison with the clients’ professional advisors. ASM proposes solutions that achieve their clients’ objectives and expectations while guiding them through the many complex and potentially costly implications of yachting. The ASM services independently cover both technical and financial aspects of yacht ownership.

The company provides the following services:
Structuring ownership and operation in a safe tax and VAT effective manner.
Facilitating construction, mortgage, and lease finance.
           Offshore trust and company formation.
           Yacht registration.
Negotiating new construction and refit contracts and specifications.
Project management on behalf of the owner.
Yacht management including accounting, maintenance and support of the vessel, crew and employment advice.

The Team
Australian born Managing Director Paul Archer is a qualified accountant and has developed strong relationships and contacts in the yachting and financial world during his 35 years in the industry. He took up competitive ocean racing in Sydney and, moved from Australia in 1974 and was based in the UK for some 30 years. With extensive experience in asset management and in the yachting field Paul is widely known and was Rear Commodore of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, on the RORC and Cowes Combined Clubs Committee and has extensive offshore racing experience.

Other members of the team include Director Laurence Teisseire, qualified in marketing and having worked in hotel management and tourism in France, Switzerland and California. She joined ASM in 1998 and is responsible for client management, yacht registration, leasing and finance. Laura Piras, fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish, is responsible for managing and developing relationships with Italian and Spanish clients. Sandrine Mannoni followed up her degree in Germany with and MBA at the Marseilles Business School. With 14 years experience in accounting she specialises in accounting and management services for yachts.

Projects
Confidentiality prevents disclosure of details of a number of new build projects. One project that Arrow Services Monaco is representing the owner for is a 45 metre motor yacht under construction in Italy, due for launch in summer 2006, with a top interior designer. This turn key project involved negotiating the contracts, payment guarantees, specification, financing construction, appointment of interior designers and on-site project managers to ensure superyacht quality is achieved for the demanding client. With roots in Australia, it is natural that Paul Archer has introduced a number of clients from the expanding Australian market to yards in Europe, as well as from the USA and Europe. Located in a hub of the Mediterranean’s superyachting playground allows Arrow Services Monaco’s team to visit boats in person acting as their clients’ eyes and ears to safeguard and protect their assets.
